Come to a Hill Gas location for your propane cylinder refill!

If you have an RV, a freestanding grill, a gas-powered firepit or some other product that requires a portable propane cylinder, then Hill Gas has a great way to replenish your fuel. Come to one of our convenient Central Texas locations during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), and we will refill your portable propane tank.

On-site bottle fills are available at the following locations:

Tips for safe propane cylinder handling

1. Do not make refilling your cylinder the first chore on your list. Make refilling your cylinder the last thing you do before returning home. Leaving a filled propane cylinder in an enclosed vehicle is unsafe, especially when it’s hot out.
2. Keep your propane cylinder upright when storing or transporting it.
3. Store your cylinders in the open air and out of direct sunlight. Do not store them near a grill or any other flame-producing product.
4. Never use a damaged propane cylinder.

Is refilling better than a propane tank exchange?

Refilling your portable propane tank is almost always a more affordable choice than a tank exchange or a propane tank delivery service.
